As we approach the end of 2020, Bonnie and I want to take a moment to reflect on this unprecedented year and share our hearts with you, our valued Kolibri family.
A Year Unlike Any Other
2020 has tested us all in ways we never imagined. The pandemic brought challenges that affected every aspect of our lives—our businesses, our families, and our communities. Yet through it all, we've witnessed incredible resilience, kindness, and the strength of the human spirit.
For Kolibri Pest Services, this year brought both challenges and blessings. While navigating the uncertainties of running a business during a pandemic, we were blessed to welcome many new families into the Kolibri fold. Your trust in us during these difficult times means more than words can express.
Gratitude for New Beginnings
To our new clients who joined us this year: Thank you.
Thank you for choosing a local, family-owned business when you could have gone with anyone. Thank you for trusting us to protect your homes and families. Thank you for becoming part of our extended family. Your support has not only helped our business survive during these challenging times but has reinforced our commitment to serving this community we love so much.
Giving Back to Our Community
This year, more than ever, we've seen the importance of neighbors helping neighbors. That's why we were honored to partner with Metrocrest Services for our annual food drive. The response from our clients and community was overwhelming. Together, we collected hundreds of pounds of food for families in need, proving once again that the spirit of giving thrives in North Texas.
Our "31 Days of Giving" initiative throughout December has been particularly meaningful this year. Each day, we've found ways to support our community, whether through donations, volunteer work, or simply spreading kindness wherever we can.
Our Guiding Principles
At Kolibri Pest Services, we operate on two fundamental beliefs that guide everything we do:
1. Every person bears the image of God - This means every client, every employee, and every person we encounter deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. It's why we approach pest control not just as a business, but as a way to serve and protect our neighbors.
2. Love wins - In a year filled with division, uncertainty, and fear, we've held fast to the belief that love conquers all. Love for our community, love for our clients, and love for what we do drives us to provide the best possible service every single day.
Looking Forward with Hope
As we celebrate Christmas and prepare for a new year, we're filled with hope. Hope for healthier days ahead. Hope for continued opportunities to serve you. Hope for a community that continues to support one another through whatever challenges may come.
We're excited about what 2021 will bring for Kolibri Pest Services. We have plans to expand our services, introduce new eco-friendly treatment options, and find even more ways to give back to the community that has given us so much.
Our Christmas Wish for You
This Christmas, our wish for you is simple:
- Health and safety for you and your loved ones
- Peace in your homes (and freedom from pests!)
- Joy in the simple moments that make life beautiful
- Hope for brighter days ahead
From Our Family to Yours
Bonnie and I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being part of the Kolibri family. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or just joined us this year, you're not just clients—you're neighbors, friends, and family.
May your Christmas be filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends. May your New Year bring new opportunities, renewed hope, and abundant blessings.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With love and gratitude,
Tom and Bonnie Wright
